One of the county parks in Chas. (on James' Island) has an annual Christmas light display throughout the whole park. We went last year and drove through it (and walked through parts, too). This year, not being pregnant, I signed up for the Fun Run/Walk on the opening night of the event. We didn't run mostly, and ended up coming in dead last, but it was fun with the kids. Here are some pix of the event and the kids at home in their cute outfits after we got home that night. WARNING: There are a LOT of pix!

The PIG (Piggly Wiggly mascot) was at the finish line to greet us (there was a bus rounding up stragglers...ie, us). Josh thought he was cool, the rest of the kids were pretty scared of him.

When the girls and I went to visit Sam and Jill in Charleston a couple of years ago, we did this also. But we took a train ride to see the lights. The girls LOVED it. So glad you had a fun time!
That looks AWESOME! LOVE the Santa Socks! Go figure right? Josh looks like he's grown up just since your last posting. His face is even more Boy-ish and the baby Josh face is almost completely gone! So sad! And yay, but mostly Sad! Sam's so adorable in his little outfit. Glad you all had fun. It looks like a blast and I know Bren would be right there with Josh examining the lights and NOT looking at the camera as well. They are their daddies' boys all right. Engineering/pilot minds and all.
